In recent years Mivan has increased its property development activities in UK and overseas markets.

Mivan has established a Property Development office in Bucharest and has already purchased a number of sites for retail and residential development. The first of these, Liberty Center, a 25,000 sqm shopping mall which includes Romania's first fully digital cinema opened in 2008. Mivan's NewTown Residence has completed its first phase of 316 apartments and recently won a major award for Best Residential Development at the CEE CIJ Awards in Bucharest.

Mivan has also completed Bleach Green, a high quality residential development project in Dunadry, Northern Ireland, as well as the £50M extension to the Kingsgate Centre, a 370,000 sq ft shopping mall in Dunfermline, Scotland which is anchored by Debenhams, Marks & Spencer, River Island and Arcadia Group.
